Lagoon, lap pools & spa’s are located on both the North and South complexes open 7:30am to 10:00pm. Chelonia Parents Retreat Pool, Spa and BBQ is located on the North complex as an adult only retreat (We respectfully request children are kept to the other five swimming pools). Pool areas are not supervised by lifeguards. Children are to be accompanied by an adult at all times. No glass. No ball games or craft. Please dry off before entering stairwells to avoid slipping. Pool towels are available at reception.

All four swimming pool complexes include a heated spa pool; relax with the whole family or, in the Chelonia Adult Pool complex, relax and unwind without the children running around.

A massive brightly coloured Australian Standard playground will be the first impression your children have of the Resort on arrival. Suiting children over four years old, this equipment, and a second playground of the same style, will provide hours of entertainment.

Gated areas are available for children of all ages to remain secure under the supervision of their parents. Giant blackboards also provide budding artists a place to express themselves.

“Putt’n around Sands” is an interactive experience incorporating our themed 18 hole putt putt course located throughout the grounds of Sands Turtle Beach Resort. “Tee off” time bookings are required in advance and can be made at reception. Course Fees apply - $7 per Adult / $5 per child or Family Package 2 Ad + 2 Ch $17 . Access between the north and south side of the resort via stairwells 14/26, 16/24 and 18/21. Equipment is offered free of charge to all Sands Turtle Beach Resort guests.

Located on the basement level. A variety of electronic games, pool tables, air hockey, novelty and arcade games are available to kids of all ages. Please ensure children are supervised whilst in car parks. Open daily from 7am to 9pm.

Two tennis courts are available from 7:30am till dusk. Tennis court bookings are required in advance and can be made at reception. Maximum booking time is one hour. No repetitive time slot bookings taken. Minimal equipment hire fee applies.

Screening times 11am, 2pm and 5pm daily. Have an early family dinner at Woodfire Pizzeria & Bar, send the kids to see a complimentary movie and sit back and enjoy a sundowner poolside. Movie details are available at reception. Located on the north side next to Woodfire Pizzeria & Bar.

There are 9 DIY BBQ’s within the resort. No bookings required. All your BBQ needs are available in the ‘FRESH’ convenience store. BBQ facilities are located both on the north and south side of the resort.

There is no better place to enjoy a delicious traditional woodfire pizza and refreshing beer, wine or cocktail. A great place to relax with family and friends while overlooking one of our lagoon pools. Takeaway option is also available. Located on the north side of the resort near the Sands Cinema.

Our onsite convenience store offers access to an ATM, Internet, newspapers, groceries and other everyday essentials. Open 7am to 8pm daily. Located on the north side of the resort.

Caters for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Barista espresso coffee available all day. Alfresco dining or takeaway in a child friendly environment. Open 7am to 8pm daily (Sunday till 1pm). Located on the south side of the resort beside Reception. 

Wireless internet hotspot access is available from reception. All apartments have hardwire internet access. Three computer terminals are also available for guest use in the Fresh Convenience Store.

There is a North and South side car park. Follow instructions from Reception staff as to which car park will get you to the closest stairwell to your apartment. Guests are issued with one Parking Permit per apartment. The Parking Permit must be displayed on the vehicle dash (drivers’ side, face up). Security guards are on site to monitor and will have vehicles without Parking Permit towed at owner’s expense. Only one vehicle per apartment is permitted onsite. Caravans, trailers, boats or other craft prohibited from car parks. MAX HEIGHT 2.1m.
